Africa's Attractions!
Bring Your Soul To A Whole New World In Africa
Lake Victoria
The Lake Victoria region is now one of the most popular and populated destinations in East Africa. It's in fact, the second largest lake in Africa! Even though many rivers and lakes are contaminated, this one contains fresh water. But best of all, it has a great wetland surface for birdwatchers and island fossil sites. Many tourists claim that they've enjoyed this peaceful place.
Sahara Desert
The Sahara Desert is the world's largest desert (size of 3,500,000 square miles)! But... The least favorite part of this place is that it has one of the harshest climates such as:
- Extreme winds
- Sand storms
Oh, wait... There's even more!
Red Sea
The Red Sea is linked with the Indian Ocean by the Gulf of Aden. Its water temperatures often exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit because it's surrounded by dry deserts. If you enjoy swimming, this is the best place for you! A superb coral wall was built underwater for divers and snorkelers to enjoy. If you get lucky, then you'll even be able to ride along with a dolphin!
Madagascar
Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world. It's made of highland plateaus. And something surprising that I found out as I was reading an article based on this topic was that Madagascar's economy is overwhelmingly agricultural! Honestly, this would be one of the top places i would visit because a small island of Nosy Be attracts thousands of tourists with it's tranquility, clear turquoise water, and the excellent seafood restaurants!
