Fox Family Focus
Week of January 16, 2022
Greetings Fox Families!
This is Anita Roane, your principal with this week’s announcements and reminders. I hope that the winter storm did not affect you too much and your families are safe and warm.
Families, I want to remind you that Superintendent Straley sent out his latest Superintendent’s Update earlier today. This update was sent out via email to the addresses we have on file, and it is also posted on our division and school website! This is an important update for all LCPS families, so please be sure to take a moment to review this information.
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting Pre-School applications for the 2022 - 2023 school year. If your child will be 4 years old by September 30th, 2022 he/she may be eligible to enroll in our program. Call 540-603-9290 or visit preschool.lcps.k12.va.us to get your application started!
Congratulations to Mrs. Franke one of our 5th-grade teachers here at the Home of the Foxes! She was announced as the TeamLCPS Certified MVP winner last week. We are so proud of her and the work that she does with our foxes.
Parents thank you for helping to make our dismissal process continue to go smoother in the afternoon. Continue to notify the office before noon of changes in afternoon dismissal. Remember that students will not be dismissed from the office after 2:30 without prior notice, you will be directed to the afternoon pickup line.
Congratulations Ms. Franke!
