Happy Sunday Duello Family,

I can’t tell you how happy I am to have kiddos back in the building! The sound of the pitter patter of their little feet (and not so little in our C Hall) brings my heart so much joy! Even under the circumstances, it’s a beautiful thing and things have been going GREAT!

Friday, we had our first PD day and our focus with staff continues to be on doing Whatever It Takes for kiddos! We are here for YOU! Please reach out with any concerns or worries you have! We appreciate your partnership as we navigate through this 1st quarter. We have entered our first assessment window: Letter From the District

For our kiddos attending school virtually, we are still problem solving how to make sure we stay connected! Mrs. Hooton and I have created a schedule so that we can hopefully begin to attend some of your class meetings! We want to see, talk, and love on you! You are missed!

First up is our annual PTA fundraiser! This year we chose a fundraiser that all of our Duello families can participate in especially since we can not all be together. We will be participating in a Read-a-thon! It will begin on September 28 and run through October 9. The funds raised go directly to Duello PTA and are used for teacher grants, family fun nights, and other school needs. Last year, we raised over 19,000, which funded the completion of the outdoor classroom, a gaga ball pit, and many other school needs.

We hope the kids are just as excited for the Read-A-Thon as we are. Keep an eye on the PTA Facebook page and your email for information.
