A Weekly Look at Grant Elementary School & the Grant PTA
Week of May 12, 2020
A Message From Principal Grey
Dear Grant Community,
I want to acknowledge all of the hard work you have put in to support your students through this unprecedented time. Many parents have voiced concern that their students may have fallen behind academically in this last trimester of distancing learning. I promise you: our staff will meet your students exactly where they are when they return in the fall and get them right back on track.
Whether we are physically together, socially distanced, or connected through technology, we are committed to academic excellence, social-emotional support and care for our students. Thank you for your continued partnership with your teachers and students during this unusual time and thank you for your trust, patience, and care. We certainly could not do this without you.
Love,
Ms. Grey

Last Student Work Pick-Up, Friday, 5/22--Please Note: Times Have Been Edited
On Friday, May 22nd we will pass out student work and belongings. We will implement the same drive-through system that we did at the start of Distance Learning. This time, you may see some smiling (masked) faces of Grant staff members throughout the day. Car decorating and student passengers are welcome!
Come to the normal Grant drop off/pick up zone so that you can drive by and pick up a paper bag with your student's materials. In order to limit the number of people coming by at once, we have broken up the school into 4 groups based on last names. Here is the pickup schedule for Friday, May 22nd:

11:30 am 12:00 pm Last Names H-N
