Principal Notes
What a great week to be a STALLION!
Please prepare your student for our end of the 9 weeks PBIS field trip. We will be taking our students to Main Event next week. We will take the 6th graders on 10/31, the 7th graders on 11/1, and the 8th graders on 11/2. This reward is for the students that met our academic and behavior expectations for the 1st 9 weeks. All students did not meet the expectation, but we hope they will next 9 weeks. The expectations are as follows:
Grades:
- Student must be passing all eight classes for EACH progress report and report card within the nine weeks.
Behavior:
The school administration has not assigned the student to more than 1 after school detention.
Student has not been assigned to ISS (in-school suspension).
Student has not been suspended from school.
Student has not been assigned to DAEP (alternative education placement)
If your stallion did not meet the expectation, there is always next 9 weeks. The tracking of academic and behavior expectations start over each 9 weeks and we are in week 1 or the 2nd 9 weeks. Please talk to your stallions about the importance of getting to class on time. Punctuality is our number 1 infraction. They add up and turn into detentions. When you have more than 2 detentions, you are disqualified. The students that are not going on the trip will be doing a TEKS based activity on campus at NMS until we get back. The field trip will be from roughly 9:00 - 2:00 PM.
See you around the campus...
Remember, we are the Best school with the Best students and the Best faculty and staff. Good, Better, Best!!! Never let it rest, until your good gets better and your better gets best!
Sincerely,
Leroy Bradley II
