I hope everyone had a nice weekend.
We will have school pictures on September 22. This will be our fall picture session and will be the picture that goes in the yearbook. Make-up day will be Oct 25.

Just a reminder - our middle school office is now open. Middle school parents can pull around on the south side of campus, park on the side and walk under the awning to the middle school front office for check-ins, check-outs or for deliveries.
Progress reports went home on Friday, September 9th. If you have not seen your student’s progress report, you may want to ask them or review it on Powerschool.
September is attendance awareness month. Please log on to Powerschool and review your child’s attendance. Just a reminder - parent notes and Dr notes are due upon return within 3 days of an absence. Please review our student handbook for our attendance policy for absences: LINK
Types of excused absences:
Sickness or hospitalization
Death in the family
Court appearance
Principal pre-approved absence
Religious holiday absence (pre-approved)
Emergency reasons - has to be Principal approved
All other absences are considered unexcused.

- This will be a come and go Q&A night with Ms. Medley & Mr. Scott and a few middle school staff members.

Free & Reduced Lunch Application
Filling out the Free and Reduced Lunch Application just got easier! Simply scan the QR code on a mobile device to access the application or visit myschoolapps.com
As a reminder, beginning in August, paying student lunches will be $2.60. Anyone needing assistance paying must complete a Free and Reduced Lunch Application BEFORE classes resume August 8 in order to start the year on the Free and Reduced Lunch program. The reduced lunch price will be $.40. Breakfast will continue to be free for all students.

Before becoming Principal at East, I served as the Principal @ Creekside for 18 years. The 22-23 school year will be my 28th year in education overall.
I graduated in 1995 from The University of Alabama with my BS in Education.
