Parent and Student Information

Greetings Buena Families!

Welcome to October at Buena High School! We are almost halfway through the fall semester!

We had a great turnout at our Homecoming football game and dance this past weekend! Our students looked sharp and had a great time dancing and playing games!

We have a minimum day on Wednesday, October 13 for staff professional development. Students will be released at 12:25pm.

Fall Break is October 25-29. There is no school this week and the office is closed.

Free after school tutoring for math will start soon in the library from 3:15-4:15pm. More info to come!

The Ventura Active Transportation Plan will create a roadmap for priority projects and programs that will make walking, bicycling, and taking transit great choices for all people living in, working in, and visiting Ventura. As part of the Active Transportation Plan, the City of Ventura project team is working closely with our school community to understand how to make walking, biking, and rolling to school safer and more convenient.

Share your experience and vision for walking, biking, and accessing transit by taking the 6-minute survey. The survey is available in both Spanish and English at this link.

Thank you for your continued support of Buena High School! Please let us know how we can assist you.

Thank you,

Dr. Audrey Asplund
