Poll Feature
This feature is currently available in the New Editor for users on our Educator Pro, Educator Premium, and Smore for Teams Plans.

How to Create a Poll
1. Click on the "Poll" button on the Add Content Menu
Open your newsletter in the New Editor. Then look to the right side of the screen for the "Add Content" menu. You should see the last option, the "Poll" button.
If you are currently not on the Educator Pro, Educator Premium, or Smore for Teams, this feature will be locked and you will be asked to upgrade your plan in order to access it.
2. Fill in poll details
You will see a form appear with the poll question at the top and then the possible choices your audience can vote for.
You need at least two possible choices in order to click the "done" button, but you can continue adding options by clicking the bottom field that says "Add a (number) answer."
3. Select a time when voting will be available
Choose a date that polling will start and end.
Please note, your audience will not be able to access the poll before the start date or after the end date has passed.
4. Choose if you would like the results to be hidden or live
The other option, "Show live results" will allow you (the author) and your audience to see the results.
5. Click "done."
Once you click "Done" and close the poll, the poll will show you the amount of time left on the poll and whether or not the results are live.
FAQ
Q: Why is my audience unable to access the poll from my newsletter?
A: If your audience reaches out to say that they cannot take your poll, the date listed might be later than you intended. If that is the case, open your newsletter in the New Editor and change the date on the poll to be the current day. Publish your edits, and then ask your audience to try to take the poll again.
Q. Where do I find the results to the poll?
A. To find the results of your Poll, simply head over to the Analytics of your newsletter and click on Polls.
