Challenge for the Week...

This week I have been reflecting on all of the many ways we work so well together as a team and Park Street Family.

I am challenging you this week to learn our school mission and vision statement. The only way we will be successful is if we work together towards a common goal.

Student Data Cards

Just a reminder, please drop off the student data cards to my office (the ones completed by last year's teacher). I will be entering in student data and then returning the cards to you.

Osmo Kits

We have SIX Osmo kits that can be checked out and used during your independent practice and group times. If you would like one, and/or would like some ideas for how to use them in your classroom, please swing by my office.

Laminating Request Form

Copy Request Form

During the breakout session in the Media Center, there were two questions we did have the opportunity to go over with every group. If you don't mind, please provide some feedback for us to help and support you during the year:

Leave Requests...

This year we will continue the Early Leave passes, but they will be electronic for easier tracking. Ms. Bagwell will include the link in the daily Panther Post, but it is also listed below.

Here is the link:

Lesson Plan Updates

Clarification: We know it is a hardship for many of you to have plans complete and submitted by Thursday evening. The admin team will not be reviewing plans until 7:15am on Mondays. As long as you can set aside a time to plan and collaborate with your support teachers, we are okay with lesson plans being uploaded to your Google Team Drive by 7:15 on Mondays. While you may not have common planning time, this lesson plan collaboration can take place before school, after school, or via email thread.

Team Leads, please ensure you have created an online Team Drive where lesson plans can be uploaded. In your team drive you should have a folder for each teacher where they can put their plans. Please share your team drive with the following individuals:

  • All teachers, support teachers, and support staff on your team
  • Administrative team (McIntire, Soto, Bagwell, Caldwell, Welch, Worley, Johnson)

Panther ROAR

The first Panther ROAR goes home this Thursday.

Coaches' Corner

We have had many questions about how to integrate Pearson Math with MCS Frameworks. Your coaches have created a visual to help you plan your lessons. If you have any scheduling concerns please check with us.

Every staff member will receive a clear affirmation envelope next week. Please hang these outside of your door and decorate them to represent your unique individual style.

Classroom Ordering...

Just a reminder...In order to expedite your supply orders and get materials to you as quickly as possible, we are implementing "Ordering Days."

  • Supply orders will be placed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Pink sheets should be submitted to me by 3:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays for approval, otherwise they will wait until the following week.
  • Pink sheets can be placed in the box outside of my office door.
