Testing Homeroom Buddies
Good afternoon!
Last year, our 3-5th grade homerooms really enjoyed having younger classes’ support during testing. We would like to continue this tradition & give our testing grades some encouragement. Please check out the pairings below and feel free to contact someone to switch if you had a different HR in mind.
What we learned from last year-
Keep it small & simple (notes, signs, banner, small treats)

Professional Learning Survey- All Certified Staff
As we start to slow down in the school year we would like to collect data to help us inform our professional learning plan for next year. We will be meeting this summer to develop and plan this, but would love to hear your feedback! We know we have made some changes to how our staff meetings and our RFF days have run (split days) and we want to know your thoughts going forward. PLEASE complete this form.
Who you gonna call?
Before making a difficult call, please reference this handy flowchart below that was given to counselors in our March PD day. I think all of us could use it :)
Tech Tips from the Vanguard Team
Teachers can look online at museums to find helpful resources. They host educator sections that will list information related to their exhibits. You can use these sites to enrich your lessons-they often feature photos, games, virtual tours, and lesson plan materials. Here are a few examples:
Smithsonian's History Explorer:
American Museum of Natural History:

Google Museum Explorer:
The info. below is a repeat. Just leaving it here for easy access!
GA Milestones
To help you plan, our testing dates are as follows. Most testing (with the exception of students with extended time) will be completed before 10am each day. Please keep these dates in mind, as we will not have TAG, EIP or ESOL classes during testing times since these teachers and their classrooms will be used for small group testing.
