Library Help

HPPM students are avid readers, which means lots of library books are being checked out and returned every week. Our library would love some help getting those returned books back on shelves so they are ready for the next student. If you would be willing to volunteer for a two hour shift to help reshelve books, we would greatly appreciate it! You can sign up for one (or more!) days here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f4ea4a922a3fe3-library

If you have any questions, please email Jennifer.Hashert@risd.org. Please note - All volunteers must have completed a background check at https://risd.voly.org/ in order to volunteer on campus.

Dress Code

Please provide a mask each day for your child. There is limited supply available and they are reserved for emergencies. Please read the blueprint as that is how we addresses our safety concerns.

School Zone

We love that your student is eager to come to school but please remember that our school zone is 20 MPH. Please drive slowly.

One Way Street

As a reminder, Towns is a one way during our school zone times. School zone times are 7:00am-9:00am and 2:45pm-4:30pm on schooldays.

We have several walkers to and from school, please drive slowly and watch for our friends at the corner of Oberlin and Campanella.

In front of the school for arrival and dismissal, please obey the appropriate crosswalks for the safety of all students.

Please do not park in front of the auditorium along Schroeder from 3:15pm-4:00pm on schooldays. We need that space open for our school buses to park and pick up our bus riders.

Happy Birthday

While we all love celebrating birthdays but unfortunately at this time we cannot have food or treats brought to the school to be shared. However, there is another way to celebrate your student birthday! You can fill out our Birthday marquee form and your student birthday will be on the marquee for the whole week of their birthday.

At this time we are not allowing visitors for lunch. Also, we are limiting the number of visitors in the building. Any visitors would need principal approval prior to visit.

Bobcat Birthday Signs

Celebrate your Bobcat’s Bday in your neighborhood through the Bobcat Birthday Sign program. Complete the form on the PTA website and pay $25, and on the Friday before your child's birthday week, Bobcat Birthday signs will magically appear in your lawn and be retrieved the next Friday. (if your child’s bday is over the weekend, alternate arrangements can be made). You must sign up by the Monday prior to your child’s bday week for timely delivery! Proceeds from the Bday Sign program benefit Sixth Grade activities.

For all xPlore! related inquiries, please contact the xPlore coordinator, Dixie Moore.
