In addition to us being immersed in reading over the past two weeks, our learners also wrote opinion pieces about which book would be the Book of Champions! Be on the lookout in Freshgrade for your learner's pick. Opinion writing is different than narrative writing (our daily shared journal stories) and information writing (non-fiction, factual text). With opinion writing, learners have to state their opinion and give reasons to support that opinion.
