What's Your Stretch?
January 10, 2020
Welcome Back to 2020!
It was great to have our students back this week and getting back into the groove of school. The two week vacation was a long stretch and I am sure there were many who got used to sleeping in and staying up late. Alarm clocks were working overtime this week.
On Wednesday, all 9-11th grade students received their course selection sheet for the 20-21 school year. During each class, teachers took a few minutes to discuss the course that they see as the next best step for students. There are many factors that go into course planning and this was step 1. Talk to your student about they want to take next school year. While doing so, please keep in mind what their interests are, and what their plans are upon graduation. Remember that it is important to maintain a balance in your life and select courses with your future in mind!
Over the next 5 weeks, School Counselors will be visiting P.E. classes to meet with students one-on-one to discuss your course request for next school year. If you have questions, please feel free to contact the Student Center (670-0811) and speak with your student's school counselor. If you want to learn more about courses and offerings, stop by Thomas for Titan Night this Monday, January 13th. We will have staff from all departments on hand to do mini presentations and answer questions you may have.
Please talk to your child about their course choices and view the course description book at the link below:
