2014 Annual OELMA Conference Update

Ohio School Libraries: Taking Charge of Change

NEW! Ohio Authors and More!

The 2014 OELMA Conference Committee is very excited to share with you some updates on our conference, being held October 23-25th at the Quest Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio. With an Ohio theme, we are working on bringing you the best professional development for school librarians that our great state has to offer you! Please take a moment and check out some reasons why you cannot miss this conference. And of course, keep checking out our OELMA conference website, Conference Facebook page, and Scoop. It Page for breaking news and updates.

Awesome Sessions Already in the Works!

This year's theme is taking charge of change and as school librarians...we KNOW change! We are already planning for our sessions to offer attendees more technology, hands-on applications, and innovative resources you can use and share with your staff and administrators!

We are excited to have Google Apps certified OELMA members already stepping up to help us all stay current with technology by presenting on some exciting Google applications such as Doctopus and Goobrics for those schools using Google Apps for Education at conference!

If you have an idea for a session you would like to present, please share your knowledge with other school librarians in the state at conference! Stay tuned to the OELMA list-serv and OELMA Conference Website for the call for proposals!
