Principal's Corner- Ms. Ramkissoon

Dear Families,

I hope that you all enjoyed a fun and relaxing Spring Break making new family memories! Thank you to all of the staff members, students, and parents who have welcomed me to the Rainbow family. Throughout the past month, I have had the opportunity to visit every classroom and see the wonderful teaching and learning experiences occurring on campus.

I was so impressed with our 4th and 5th grade student’s dedication and hard work during their FSA Writing Assessment along with our 3rd and 4th graders who just finished up with their FSA ELA and Math Assessments. I was able to talk too many of the students at the end of each day and they all felt very confident in their abilities. It is a true testament to the great teaching going on in our classrooms.

Our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students have continued to work on developing their reading, writing and math skills. Many of our classes celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday with some fun and exciting activities. I think I even saw a cat in the hat…or two!

Please read below about some of our exciting events that will be taking place on campus in the coming weeks. I look forward to seeing you there!
