WATER WEDNESDAY Water Wednesday has been a huge success here at Ashley Ridge. The faculty and staff look forward to trying something new each week. Some of the flavors have been Strawberry/Jalapeno, Pineapple/Basil and Cucumber/Lemon. If you have any flavor combinations you would like to have added, please email Mrs. Sanchez or Nurse Moses!! | HEALTHY TASTINGS Our cafeteria manager, Rosalie Martin, offered healthy roasted Brussels Sprouts to sample during lunch. Hope you got a chance to taste them - they were a hit!! The last tasting in December was roasted cauliflower and was also a hit. Thank you Rosalie and cafeteria staff for expanding our palate!! Be on the lookout for more healthy tastings to come. | CONGRATULATIONS MS. SCHNEIDER!!! Toni Schneider applied for and was awarded a $550.00 grant from Project Unify. This program is sponsored through Special Olympics to encourage Special Education students to participate in physical education programs within the high school setting. This money can be used for adaptive equipment, uniforms, transportation, etc. Congratulations to Ms. Schneider and all the special education students who will benefit. |
