Unity Day
Celebrate Unity Day by Wearing Orange on October 20th!
When we stand together, no one stands alone!
Students and staff are encouraged to wear orange on Unity Day, Wednesday, October 20th, to show they care about safe and supportive schools and communities. This is the day when everyone can come together and send one large ORANGE message of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Districtwide efforts to support Unity Day throughout the month of October include counselor-led classroom discussions, read alouds, student pledges, and school activities highlighting respect, kindness, and inclusion.
Family Connection
We encourage you to engage in family discussions about what unity means to your child, their school, and their community - and how it relates to preventing bullying and creating a safer school and community. Reflect on the statement, "When we stand together, no one stands alone."
