Cleaning
To prevent food borne bacteria you should start off with wash hands, don't cross-contaminate, cook at proper temps., and refrigerate promptly. It is very important that you follow these step so you don't get a food born illness
Cooking
It's a lot of ways you can prevent food borne bacteria when cooking like using a the remoter to check the temp of the food and checking to see if meat is red and defrost in fridge or quicker in microwave. If you use the steps you shouldn't have any food borne illness
Chill
When freezing or putting foods in the fridge they should be kept at 40 degrees or below anything above that could be not good to eat. If you have hot foods they should be at 140 degrees or higher so that bacteria and other things don't harm it. You should remember that all food have to be stored in different climates such as hot warm or cold.
Separate
Separate raw meat, poultry, seafood and eggs from other foods in your grocery shopping cart, grocery bags and in your refrigerator. Use one cutting board for fresh produce and a separate one for raw meat, poultry and seafood. Never place cooked food on a plate that previously held raw meat, poultry, seafood or eggs. These will prevent food borne illnesses.
