What are my options?
*NEW* The Music and Arts Floor opening in Founders Hall this Fall is our newest SIH choice. This floor is the ideal living place for any music, theater, and arts majors. Without leaving the hall, you can rock out in the new Rock Band room, practice Brahms' 4th symphony, or belt out a monologue from Pulp Fiction. Conveniently located by the Arts Center and Wilmot, students can benefit from mutual critiques of their work as well as study groups in a supportive and artistic atmosphere.
Medaille Global Commons is diversity at its best! This hall is made up of students from all backgrounds, nationalities, and cultures who share a pride and passion for diversity. A mix of international and American students, Global Commons is a place where you can learn about other cultures and be a part of an open, friendly community. The hall works in cooperation with the Center for International Education to provide cultural events and activities both on and off campus, including a bi-annual trip to Niagara Falls.
La Maison Française is an amazing opportunity for Foreign Language majors to live with international students and speak together in their target language. There are FL-related programs every Thursday evening as well as monthly cultural events, like the trip to Montreal. All French House residents also have access to the kitchen, a comfy lounge, an elegant dining room, a library, and a beautiful patio and yard.
The George Service Floor is a unique experience that allows you and your floormates to actively contribute to your community through civic engagement and volunteer opportunities. Make a difference and be a part of a team that is dedicated to intentional community service and service learning. (THE SERVICE FLOOR IS FULL AT THIS TIME AND IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR FALL)
