Telemedicine Is Here!
Avon Grove has added SwiftMD telemedicine services to your benefits package effective October 1, 2018. If you are enrolled in our District’s medical plan, you and your family will have immediate access to top doctors, while reducing your cost for the care of many common illnesses. Consults are available anytime, anywhere, at no cost to you for co-pays or consult fees!
Benefits from SwiftMD include:
- Consults with doctors via phone or videoconference available 24/7
- Diagnoses and advice for many common medical conditions
- Prescriptions called in to your local pharmacy when appropriate
- 100% employer paid "visits" -- NO out-of-pocket expenses for you and your eligible dependents (including your spouse)
- Avoid unnecessary visits to the ER and long waits for doctor appointments
- Utilize SwiftMD services while traveling anywhere in the US
SwiftMD physicians provide consults for fever and flu, sinusitis, insect bites and stings, pink eye, earaches, rashes and allergies, urinary tract infections, and many other common, acute medical conditions. When appropriate they can send a prescription to your preferred local pharmacy, where you can pick it up at your convenience. (Regular prescription charges apply.)

Getting started with SwiftMD just takes a few minutes!
As a SwiftMD member, you can schedule a consult with a doctor anytime. Login in 24/7 to schedule a consult with a doctor, or call the toll free number 833-SWIFTMD (833-794-3863) or 877-999-7943. It’s easy, and it’s available to you and your family anytime, anywhere!
For online access go to mySwiftMD.com and click "Get Started" to retrieve your login credentials. The District's passcode is AGSD18. Once you log in, there are a few simple steps to activate your membership. You can be assured that the member portal is housed on secure servers, and that all data is encrypted during transmission.
If you have time, take a few minutes to enter your medical history before talking to a SwiftMD doctor. After a consultation you will be able to review the physician visit notes in your Personal Health Record online.
You'll save time by adding your preferred local pharmacy to your membership record. That way when you schedule a consultation with a SwiftMD doctor, they'll already have the information.
