Thanksgiving Prep
Thanksgiving Feast
On Wednesday, November 21st, the eighth grade is hosting their Colonial Harvest Feast. Students are asked to bring in a contribution of food or drink (or paper goods in advance if you will be away). We ask that you please contribute a non-perishable item on this day for our Adopt-a-Family drive.
While the eighth grade has run this feast over the last few years, this year will feature a new twist. To truly celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving, the eighth grade is opening the Harvest Feast to veterans related to this class of eighth graders. We want to show our gratitude and appreciation to them, and would love to share this day with them. Permission slips/ details are with students. The permission slips contain information about having veterans attend
Special thanks to the eighth grade student council for helping orchestrate this event and implementing the new ideas. Any questions please email: justin.maslanka@tyngsboroughps.org or andrea.trearchis@tyngsboroughps.org -

Robotics is Back
The TMS robotics team is back for its second year and we are looking to build on last year's success. We are looking for new members to join the team and we are are also looking for some financial help. We could really use some donations from high tech companies to help fund our team. The starting price for a returning team is $1,500. Last year we were lucky enough to have a couple of companies donate money which gave us the ability to field two teams (THS and TMS). We are hoping to get similar support this year, so if you work for a high tech company or know someone who does, and that company is willing to donate please let Mr.Boisvert at THS know! adam.boisvert@tyngsboroughps.org
We are also accepting Box Tops to help raise money. Our first TMS robotics meeting will be held on Tuesday November 20th in the middle school library. Please contact Mr.Boisvert with any questions.
