Construction Has Begun!!

Construction began early this week on TPCA's NEW Athletic field and is scheduled to be complete by early December!! This artificial turf field will be the site where our football and soccer teams will host and play our home games and where you will sit in the stands and cheer them on!!

To celebrate, we are having an All-School Bonfire on Thursday, September 10 from 7:00-8:30 PM. Park in the church parking lot near the bridge and walk over to the future site of the new athletic field for a night of celebration and fun with a bonfire, music and lots of TPCA pride!!

TPCA Blog

This past Monday we began publishing our first official Traders Point Blog! We hope you caught it on Facebook. Our first series is titled, “You Belong”, in reference to our 2015-2016 school year theme. Ron Evans, Head of School, wrote the first post, and we will continue to publish new posts each Monday (or Tuesday on holiday weeks). Bloggers will present insight into many topics related to Christian education, learning, relationship, spiritual formation – whatever we think will be helpful to our parents and community. Please check it out at traderspointca.wordpress.com. You Belong among our blog followers, so remember to “like” our blogs and share them with others!

Important Email Issue Announcement

We have found that some parent’s personal email addresses are either not receiving emails FROM mailboxes @tpcs.org, and/ or some emails that have been sent TO an address @tpcs.org may not have reached us. If you know for certain that an email from the school was not received by you or vice versa please send the email address and the time it was sent from you to Tom McCormick, IT Manager: tmccormick@tpcs.org. Or call him at 317-769-2450. We apologize for the inconvenience and we are working hard to resolve these issues quickly!

No Girls Basketball Open Gym this Sat.

Girls Middle School and Junior High Basketball Open Gym will be cancelled over the Labor Day weekend. We will resume Saturday, September 12 at our regular schedule of 10:30 am -noon.

K-5 Parent Information Night Sept 14

K-5 Parent Information Night will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015. Mr. Ron Evans will give an overview of our 2015-2016 goals at 6:15pm. There will be two identical sessions following the opening presentation at 6:30 and 7:10 pm in your child's homeroom classroom. The second session is offered for families who may have more than one student enrolled at TPCA. We hope to see you there!

New Check-In Procedures for Visitors

We are excited about a new check in system that has been installed at the front desk for all visitors to Traders Point Christian Academy. This new system replaces the previous system of Ident-a-Kid that many of you have used to sign yourself in when visiting TPCA. This new system will help our school be a safer environment for both students and staff. Here's what you will need to know about our new procedure.

The new system will use your state issued driver's license or identification card to check you in. This will be for anyone who will need to go beyond the front desk. So please make sure that you have your ID with you when entering the school if you are planning to visit a class, join us for chapel, eat lunch with your student, or volunteer in the building.

We know that this is a big change from the old system, but know it is for the safety of your children. We want the best for them and feel this is a huge benefit to school safety. If you have any questions, please email me at khall@tpcs.org. I will be glad to discuss it with you.

Night Under the Stars Family Event- September 18!

TPCA's Night Under the Stars is coming up Sept 18th. Don't miss out on a Family Fellowship highlight of the Fall with Fun, Food and Film for all TPCA families!


FUN: We'll have a Live Music, Campfire, Bounce Houses, Face Painting, and a Balloon Artiste (the extra "e" makes it fancier)


FOOD: Since your Dad's Club is hosting this shindig, don't expect Quinoa or Kale on this menu! But we will have Hotdogs, Chips, Cookies, Popcorn, and, because Moms will be there too, we might have a couple pieces of fruit also. And maybe the campfire can be used to rustle up some s'mores!


FILM: After the sun settles below the horizon, we'll enjoy a movie under the stars on a jumbo inflatable screen!

Order Your Yearbook and Share Pictures with the Yearbook Staff!


TPCA's Golden Eagle Yearbook Staff is eager to get started with all matters of yearbook. With our school's verse being "You Belong," Romans 12:5b, we desire for everyone to "belong" to the contribution of the photos for this year's edition. Simply by creating an account with www.replayit.com, you can easily upload pictures that you take at school-events. Since the yearbook staff cannot be at all events or in all classrooms 24/7, you can fill the gap. Our staff will review submitted pictures, but please note that we could not possibly include ALL submitted photos. So, be selective in the ones you choose to upload. Pictures taken with digital cameras are better, as the resolution on many cell phones doesn't always allow us to resize the photo.
