Earth Day Naturalist Walk and Talk
"Our Mississippi: An Exploration in Time, Place, and Ecology"
Walk with naturalist, Lyndon Torstenson, who will explain the unique ecosystem that surrounds Seward neighborhood. This walk and talk will be focused on the Mississippi River and the gorge. Lyndon Torstenson will answer questions like:

Neighborhood Litter Clean Up
Minneapolis Board of Parks and Recreation is supplying garbage bags and gloves for residents to participate in cleaning up our neighborhood and the Mississippi River. During this time storm drain stenciling kits will also provided available to use.

Storm Drain Stenciling Kits
The City of Minneapolis has provided SNG with kits to freshly stencil the storm drains. SNG's goal is to stencil all the drains in Seward. By stenciling the storm drains we raise awareness about our connection with the Mississippi River. These kits will be on reserve and available for residents to use all spring and summer. If you wish to reserve time using the kits please contact kerry@sng.org 612-338-6205x119
