Summary:
Caymen Meyers is a seventeen year old girl who lives with her mom in a small Porcelain Doll shop. Her and her mom have been on their own since Caymen's dad left them to run his own business so he could become rich. That left Caymen and her mom in a bad position with barely any money. Caymen vowed to never trust rich people again. Until one day a rich, handsome boy her age came into the store to pick up a doll for his grandma. His name was Xander Spence. At first Caymen couldn't stand him and did not like him. He visited the store a lot and that grew a friendship. Throughout the book they became much closer and Xander showed her how to have fun and live a good life and they slowly fell in love. He changed the way she thought of rich people.

Xander is the rich guy. He seems stuck up, spoiled, and like a stereotypical rich guy. Throughout the book, as his relationship with Caymen advances, you see his sweet, caring, and playful side. He helps Caymen trust people again and think differently about some rich people.
Caymen Meyers
Caymen is the unpopular girl at high school. Her life revolves around school and helping her mom in their store which they live in also. She's caring, sarcastic, and a character that people can relate too. Her rich father left her and her mother early in life so she's learned to not trust the rich. That all changes once she meets Xander and he shows her the real him.
Skye Lockwood
Skye is Caymen's one and only friend. She's always around at the Porcelain Doll Shop with Caymen and her mom. She's outgoing, fun, and sweet. She's always there for Caymen, but she's boy crazy and tries too set Caymen up with different guys and doesn't think Xander is right for her. The opinions change throughout the book.
Setting:
The majority of the book takes place in a Porcelain Doll Shop. The Doll shop is a small builing with a small upstairs. The upstairs part of the store is where Caymen and her mom lives because they don't have enough money to have a different house anywhere.

Caymen saw Xander as rich. She immediately thought he was stuck up and arrogant. Turns out she judged him wrong in the end.
