Monday Memo
"You Rock, We Rock, #Plattinrocks!"
Patriots Day
Although the historic event that occurred on 9/11/2001 seem like yesterday; the children we teach today have little understanding of the impact it had on our country and world. Please take time this week to inform them, age appropriate, about the events and the way we as a country honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Here is a scholastic lesson which could help get your creative minds headed in the right direction.
Items to keep in mind during the week of 9/11-15
- Welcome to PINK WEEK! I hope you all enjoy a 'pink game' this week. Friday at the Football Game our district will once again bless a few families with a donation to help with any medical/expenses they have during this difficult time. If you don't attend football games regularly I would HIGHLY suggest you attend this one.
