April 21, 2017
Hello, Mustangs!
I need to do a couple of quick safety reminders. As the number of guests has increased, please make sure that all guests are aware that they must bring their drivers license for entrance into the school. Also, Spring is here so students are excited. Please drive slowly while closely observing for darting children, even those younger ones who aren't in school yet. Thank you for your help with this!
Lost and found has GROWN! Yes, it looks like Kohl's has a branch in our Wi-Fi Cafe. Please remind your children to check for lost items as we do this regularly but there is no decrease. Also, please put your child's name in items. This is a tremendous help! Lost and found will be boxed for sharing with a school in our district at the end of April.
Thank you to all who were able to attend Sonic Night! It was a huge success with loads of fun for all! Our teachers and I collected many hugs, smiles, and tips!! FUN night for ALL! Without YOU this would not have been possible!
Our Purple Up Day for Military Kids made me so proud! We have quite a few of these wonderful children and showing them this support truly affirms their value and our acknowledgement of their sacrifices. I have learned a lot about this as my two granddaughters have a Navy dad! Thank you to our military kids!!
Our 3rd and 4th graders will begin their state assessments on Tuesday so I recommend going to bed early each day and having balanced breakfasts! I also strongly encourage you to bring these students to school by 7:25 a.m. as they get organized and prepped for doing their best. This is a proud time as they show off their hard work and learning!!
Have a wonderful weekend with lots of outdoor fun!
