Message from the Principal
We've almost finished week two! I know that there have been a fair amount of tech issues but we are working on those. Part of our issues have been resolved since our Tech Department switched out internet filters. It allows for more users in our network but it is not as strict in limiting search content. Please know that kids should not be using their device for non-school related internet searches. Also, there is currently no "curfew." So devices don't lock at 10pm right now. I know that is not an issue for most but we are working to get that fixed.
Lastly, I want to let you know about some family connection opportunities. TTSD is bringing together affinity groups (a group formed around a common interest or shared goal) from across our schools. Meetings for Families of Black Students (tonight), Families of Asian Students (29th), Families of Pacific Islander Students (29th) and Spanish Speaking Families (30th) are coming up. I have attached the flyers which direct you to our district's calendar and invites for these events. These are opportunities to express your needs and concerns around our system and help us create more equitable schools. Parent voice and input are very important as we work to improve.
Hang in there Wildcats. I know that there have been challenges but don't forget to acknowledge your successes. This will get easier as we go.
Thank you.

Gracias.
