Digital Tools to Transform Learning

Participants will evaluate their technology integration using Alan November's Transformational Six questions. These questions provide a framework for assessing the innovation and effectiveness of digital teaching and learning. After a brief overview and introduction, participants will use the questions to reflect on their current technology integration, discuss opportunities for growth, and explore digital tools that facilitate transformational learning. Example tools for exploration include Twitter, WordPress, Google Search Education, and more.

Using ePortfolios to Track Learning Mastery

Eportfolios can be a powerful tool for empowering students to own their learning. Collaboratively creating "I can" statements and determining appropriate evidence of learning mastery provides an opportunity for teachers and students to be partners in the classroom. During this webinar we examine support for competency-based grading, evaluate example eportfolios, and explore tools for implementing eportfolios in our classrooms.
