#Relationship Problems
Hermia's Playlist
Theme: Relationships are hard.
Track 1: Love Story by Taylor Swift
Refrain from watching the end of the video if you do not wish to see kissing, a dude in a baggy t-shirt, a proposal, or Taylor Swift in a Victorian Style dress.
Track 2: Get Out of This Town by Carrie Underwood
Track 3: Bad Blood by Bastille
"As friendship goes, resentment grows..."
Track 4: My Precious One by Celine Dion
Track 5: Forever and Always by Taylor Swift
Well, your boyfriend missing is one giant relationship problem... but not much you can do about it.
Track 6: So How Come (No One Loves Me) by the Beatles
"They say that everyone, loves someone. So how come, no one, loves me."
After Puck (Robin) puts the magical love potion on Lysander's and Demetrius' eyes, they both fall in love with Helena and Hermia ends up with no one loving her. She seemed really confused about why Lysander didn't love her anymore. She would sing this to Lysander probably in hope of him loving her again. Again, she runs into another relationship problem: He might not love her anymore (even without the use of magic). I chose this song because it seems like something Hermia would listen to because she can relate to it... no one loves her.Track 7: Beat It by Michael Jackson
"They told him don't you ever come around here, don't wanna see your face, you better disappear, the fire's in their eyes and their words are really clear"
When Demetrius keeps following Hermia, she keeps telling him to go away, or beat it. She would have told Demetrius to beat it. It can't be easy to be in a relationship or maintain one if some guy you hate just keeps coming up to you and is like "I love you." This song sounds like something Hermia would sing to Demetrius, and that's why I chose it.
Track 8: Better Than Revenge by Taylor Swift
Track 9: Style by Taylor Swift (Lyrics Only, No Audio)

Track 10: Ever Ever After by Carrie Underwood
At the end of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hermia finally gets to marry the man she loves- Lysander. She finally gets her happy ending, and for the moment, any problems with their relationship comes to a stop. I chose this song because it's for a classic happy fairytale ending. Hermia gets a "new beginning" with Lysander. Hermia would be singing this to the whole wide world, exclaiming her newfound ability to marry the man she loves while staying where she lives.
