PACE Parent News: Summer Edition!
July 11, 2022
Our senior leadership team (SLT) is hard at work preparing for the coming school year. Their plans are for growth for us all staff, scholars and families. I am very excited and know our 2022/2023 will be successful for our scholars and families. We look forward to engaging with families around scholar educational growth and success.
In the meantime, you can help us prevent the dreaded "Summer Slide" by ensuring that your child reads and practices their math facts every day; their Summer Bridge workbook is a great tool to help reinforce their learning gains. Our scholars received their grade level Summer Bridge Workbooks prior to summer break. If your child did not receive a Summer Bridge Workbook, you may pick one up at the main door security station during summer hours, Tuesday - Thursday, 8AM - 3PM.
We will host a Focus Group Follow Up Luncheon on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 12:30PM. This invitation is extended not only to the parents who participated in Focus Group meetings back in the spring, but to all PACE parents. If you are available to participate, please RSVP by completing the short google form linked below; this will help us prepare for lunch.
Remember you can contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or leave me a message at 248-569-1060 ext. 2117, I will respond to your email and/or call promptly.
Over the pandemic, we became quite laxed with our uniform policy and dress code; it is very important that we to return to our established school policies. We will strictly adhere to our school uniform policy and dress code this coming year. Check out the School Uniform Chart.
