John Venn
John Venn was born on August 4, 1834. He died on April 4, 1923. He grew up in Hull, England. His mother was Martha Sykes, and Henry Venn was his father. He married Susanna Edmondstone the daughter of Reverend Charles Edmondstone. He also had 2 sisters, Henrietta and Susan. John Venn invented the Venn diagram. This helped us compare and contrast
Early life
He received his education from tutors and schools in Highgate and Islington. He earned his degree in mathematics from Gonville and, Caius College at Cambridge University. In the late 1850's he became a priest of a church. Then in 1880 he resigned from the job only to be more involved in the church.
