Message from Mrs. DeMartino

Dear Raleigh Hills Community,

We have about a month of school left and we are looking to finish strong! It's important to keep school routines going all the way to the end. Make sure students are getting a good night's rest and keeping a consistent bedtime. It's a really great time to set some summer reading goals as well. Ms. Moore has created many resources for students to keep reading! We are finishing up our all school book The One and Only Bob. If you missed any of the episodes, you can find them at her amazing library webpage. This is a great resource to use to keep the reading habits going even over the summer. There are lots of read alouds there, including the staff reading The One and Only Bob. Have fun exploring it as a family and have a great weekend!

Warm regards,

Jennifer

Masks

You might have seen that the CDC changed the guidelines for masking and social distancing for those who are fully vaccinated. This will not result in a change at schools for the remainder of this year. Everyone on school campuses must be masked and adhere to social distancing guidelines. We don't yet know what this will mean for next year.

Sign Up for Dental Sealants

Sign up for a free dental screening. All you need to do is fill out the consent forms and bring your child to Raleigh Hills on June 14th or 15th. We will screen hybrid students with completed consent forms while they are at school and CDL students can come from 12-3. You can print the form and return it to the school OR complete and submit the consent forms online using the links below.

Safe Routes to School Survey

Dear Raleigh Hills Parents and Guardians,

It’s data collection time again for Beaverton’s Safe Routes to School program. The purpose of this program is to make walking and biking to school safe, convenient, and fun.

Parent’s and guardian’s input into how students travel to and from schools and their impression of the safety of the route is valuable as the city and county prioritize needed improvements for our roads.

The following link was generated from the National Safe Routes to School Center and will be used to give us a good picture of how students are getting to and from schools throughout the district.

The school’s survey will be open for responses until May 31. We appreciate your help in giving us information to make our program effective for all Beaverton School District students.

Thank you,

Leah Biado-Luis
