Newly Updated 3rd Quarter end date changed
Due to the second snow day of the year, the district is extending 3rd quarter by two days. The last day of 3rd quarter will be Thursday, March 10, 2016. This means that 3rd quarter grades are now due on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 by 4:00 p.m. If you have any questions about these new dates, you can check with Dr. Huff.
Updating Faculty and Plan Time Meetings
We have a Faculty Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 16th (to go over 3rd Quarter SIP data). As a building we will not have 3rd quarter data in time for this meeting. Therefore, we will not meet as a faculty on March 16th (two days before end of the quarter). Instead we will meet on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 (after school) to analyze the 3rd quarter data. This April 13th date is not on the calendar. We will add this date and then remove the April 12th Plan Time Meetings (that was set aside for RtI work). We wanted to give you plenty of notice regarding these date changes. Since April 13th is an "added" date, if you have a conflict with this date, please let Dr. Huff know.
New Electives/Explo Department Chair selected
Congratulations to Mrs. Angie Wittmus who has been selected as the new Electives Department Chair. Mrs. Wittmus will begin her new role when school begins this August. She is taking the place of Mr. Mark Wuertenberg who is retiring at the end of the 2015-2016 school year.

Howell of Fame
Here is the link for the Howell of Fame nominations. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, April 4, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. Send or deliver nominations to the Administration Offices. More than one person can nominate the same individual.
Summer School Staff Postings
For further information on Summer School positions, please click here. Please apply by Monday, Feb. 29, 2016. If you are interested there are still a few positions open.
The application process will utilize the District’s Applitrack web-based application process. To begin, log in to the District’s HowellNet site. Your HowellNet login is your District computer login and password. From here, click on Resources> Career Opportunities and then click on the Internal Posting of the position(s) in which you are interested. If you have never used Applitrack before, you will be asked to create an account by using your District e-mail address and creating a password of your choice, then completing some basic demographic information. Once this is done, you can apply for the specific positions you choose. Click here for a direct link to the Career Opportunities page showing all Internal Postings in the District. The summer school principals would like to finish the interviewing process the first week of March. All positions will remain open until filled.
