Jackie Robison was a very talented athlete and played a big role in changing the history of baseball. Jackie Robinson was the first african american to play in major league baseball. Jackie was the first person to steal home plate ever in the majors. Jackie was also the first african american to be inducted into the base ball hall of fame.
In 1947 Jackie Robinson became the first African American became the first African American to play Major League Baseball. Lots of people were against this and sent him racial threats and said they were gonna kill him. But jackie didn't care he just ignored them which lead him to become one of the best baseball players to ever live.

In 1955 Jackie Robinson became the first person to steal home in the MLB. Jackie stole home plate in the 1955 world series against the Yankees. When Jackie stole home everyone stood up and cheered. Except for the catcher, the catcher was really angry he argued with the umpire and insisted he was out. But umpire said he was safe and Jackie became the first person to steal home.
