Help Desk
1. Use the Help Desk icon in Classlink
2. Use the Help Desk link in Sharepoint
Using this system helps us to address the concern and to keep you up-to-date on the process. All help desk needs must be submitted in a ticket in order to receive service. If you have questions concerning the process, please let me know.
Classlink
*Please note (Elementary Campuses Only):
We were made aware that those campuses (elementary only) that received QR Codes on the lanyards are outdated. IT used the most recent list of students that we were provided but we all know that sometime lists change daily. We have made it available for campus teachers to print their own QR codes for their class. You now have a new app available on your Classlink Home Screen (See photo with arrow). When you click that link, you should see your students and be able to generate the qr codes. If you do not, please give me through tomorrow to make sure it's working properly. I've spoken with Classlink Helpdesk several times today to get it working for you but my teacher tester is still experiencing some problems. I am providing a link to the steps to print a QR Code for your convenience in case you can view your students now and for future reference. I will send out a follow up email to elementary teachers in regards to the quick cards tomorrow or Wedenesday.
YAPP App
Direct weblink:
https://my.yapp.us/SWSCHOOLSTX
Presentations have been sent in quite frequently so check the app for those presentations under PD Presentations. If you are prompted to update your app, it's asking you to do so to in order to receive the new info that was added. ~Hope this helps.
The Camera App
Need more of a visual? Click here to see the 15 second screen capture I created to show you how it's done.
Here are a few more things you can do with the handy Camera App...
1. Take a Time Lapse Video
2. Capture Video in Slo-Mo (Slow Motion)
3. Capture Photos & Videos (use the square photo option for social media)
4. Take a Pano (Did you know that if you take a Pano using the camera app that if you upload that photo, Facebook automatically turns it in a 360 photo where your audience can move their device to see the photo? How cool is that?)
5. Take Live Photos and HDR Photos
6. Use flash or use the timer to prepare for the photo
7. Take a photo while recording video (Look for the small white button to take photos while recording video, see photo visual in this post)
*If you're into photography or just love taking photos, I'd like to recommend the Snapseed app, one of my most favorite photo editing apps. It's free in the App Store or Google Play Store.
