The R.E.A.D.Y. Release

CCTC Monthly Newsletter-November 2020

Dear CCTC Families,

Please be sure to read the link below regarding the CCPS "Stay the Course" plan. We are currently in Phase 3 of the countywide recovery plan as well as Phase 3 of the CTE recovery plan. The link below explains how the data is used to determine the rate at which the district moves through the recovery plan.

I ask that you remember to review the health protocols on the magnet provided to all students. Please do not come to school if you are sick. If you are staying home because you are experiencing symptoms, please contact your home school nurse, CCTC or your teacher.

Stay safe and healthy.

Please check PowerSchool grades! If you do not have a login for Powerschool, please contact your child's school counselor. The end of Quarter 1 is November 10. Students are working for regular grades (A-E). If a student is missing assignments, they need to reach out to their teacher if they need support and do their best to get them submitted as soon as possible! Parent conference day is scheduled for November 18. If you would like to conference with your child's teacher, please email them directly and request a conference.

If you have questions, comments or concerns, I encourage you to please reach out to me by calling the school or emailing me.

Please note:

Please note:
  • Every effort has been and will continue to be made to distance students to the extent possible while they are on the bus and in school. Some classrooms have rows of desks that are spaced out, and some have tables where students may be separated by a clear barrier.
  • If a person in the school has COVID-19 symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19, he or she will be sent home to isolate. In addition, appropriate staff will perform internal contact tracing which may result in other students also being sent home to isolate. The CCPS COVID-19 Response Plan is available on the website, as is more detailed information in the FAQs section.
