Shine Bright with Supt. Rebecca A. Jenkins
Dear District 70 Families:
I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and New Year! We are already eagerly looking forward to all that 2024 will bring in growth and accomplishments for our students.
I encourage you and your family to use the Winter Break as a way to recharge and reconnect with friends, family, and our community. The magic of what makes Libertyville such a wonderful place to live and raise a family is that deep sense of community and connection that binds us together.
We will see you again in the New Year!
Shine Bright,
Rebecca

HMS students read Framed this year and held an entire day devoted to activities related to the book, including an interview with the author that was videotaped.

Sign Up for D70 Emergency Text Messages
In case of an emergency, District 70 will connect with families through emails, recorded phone messages, and text messages. But under Illinois law, text messages are sent only to families who sign up to receive them.
We encourage everyone to sign up for text messages because they generally reach everyone almost as quickly as they are sent. D70 only sends text messages in an emergency, including school closures, late buses, etc.
You can opt-in by texting 67587 with either a Y or a YES as the message you send. (This may not be activated for 48 hours from when you opt in.) This text (SMS) service only will be used in the event of an emergency.
