Buffalo Bulletin
September 17-21
The best teams have a combination of love and accountability. Love drives the relationship, while accountability to the culture, values, principles, expectations, and standards of excellence moves the relationships toward greatness. In other words, you and your team are united by love to do something great together.

- Salary confirmation is due by 9/28. Information here!
- New online literacy program is coming! We are really excited to be chosen at the Klein ISD campus to Pilot Lexia Core5. It appears to be a really great program which will likely replace Waterford across the district next year. It is an online program which also has thousands of embedded printable supports for use in targeted small groups (guided reading)! All literacy (reading and writing) teachers are required to attend an hour long training on September 26 from 4-5 in the library. Here is a quick video about what it looks like in case you are curious!
- MOY Linguistic accommodations are due (In ELLevation) by September 21st (this is a one week extension from the district). You will receive an email when the template is prepared and ready for entry. Here is a video to show you how to enter them.
- Helping Hands starts this month! The bins will be out in the workroom on the 26th and picked up on the 27th so make sure you add your projects!
- Goodie Table Days
- Appreciation Dates - Some of these are upcoming in October. If highlighted, we are awaiting confirmation of date.
- Grade levels/Teachers who are opting out of homework: The district has requested that we provide parents with some sort of notification regarding what students are learning if homework does not go home. Options include having them copy into their planners, sending a regular Dojo message, posting on your website, or sending a simple calendar such as this one. Quarterly updates are all that is expected and they do not have to be super detailed.
