Crossing Guard Update

We are in the process of hiring a crossing guard for our Harrison/Lemp location. (hooray!) We will continue to have limited coverage on Harrison and 15th in the meantime.

Community Meeting Around Student Mental Health

(details below) Join Boise Schools and community partners for a conversation about student mental health and suicide prevention this Thursday November 30. It will include community resources, presentations and a moderated question and answer session with local professionals and the Boise School District. Do you have a question you hope to have answered? There will be opportunities at the event or submit your questions HERE.

Communities for Youth

The Boise School District has been partnering with the City of Boise's Communities for Youth initiative for the last two years. Parents/guardians across the city are invited to join BSD in supporting the well-being of our youth in the next Communities for Youth Boise Action Team meeting. To attend, please register online.

If you're interested in helping families this holiday season, please consider donating to one of the following non-profit organizations:

Boise High Softball Youth Developmental Sessions Winter Camp

Ages: 8 to 13-year old’s interested in preparing for their upcoming spring season


Dates: (Every Sunday in December & January not on a Holiday)

  • December 3, 10, 17 and January: 7, 14, 21, 28


Times: 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm


Payment: Please make checks payable to: Boise High Softball. Please mail checks to Boise High: Attn. Boise Softball, 1010 W. Washington St, Boise ID 83702 prior to November 27th, or bring check on first day of Camp.

  • $150 for the 7 days of instruction, or $25 per session (pay at door)
  • To get an idea on numbers, please email david.ruffing@boiseschools.org (Boise assistant softball coach) with a simple, “Yes, my ____year old, named _____ wants to attend the winter camp.” Or mail in the registration form as soon as possible. Payment can be taken at the door.
