Whittier Weekly Newsletter
October 23, 2020
Thank you
Dear Whittier Families,
Thank you for coming together this week to talk about your children/our students. We truly appreciate the collaborative nature of the time together. I realize and appreciate how challenging virtual learning can be, and we will debrief and adjust some things based on your feedback. I will communicate more about this on Sunday along with our Book of The Week. This will come to you on Sunday afternoon through Find Out First, Twitter, and on our school website.
Next week will be full of all kinds of great fun! See in the sections below for several events throughout the week, including PTA Trunk or Treat on Wednesday evening. We will share specific details about Trunk or Treat in Sunday's Newsletter as well as further information about our PTA Fall Online Bookfair, which has all kinds of great deals on great books.
Again, on behalf of our staff, I appreciate all that you are doing to support the effort to keep students learning.
Be well,
Lorcan OhEithir, Principal

Hosted via Zoom, the program is called You Got This!: Ensuring Virtual School Success.
The program aims to inspire parents and provide them with confidence to work with their child and their child's teacher(s). This event will also stream live through the FCPL's Facebook page.
