SIGN UP WITH THE DNR INSTRUCTOR
REQUEST the Hunter Ed Registration Form. This is the ONLY way to enroll in the class.
Email the Family Hunting Heritage program coordinator, Annette Hansen at
executivedirectoriwlapcc@gmail.com for your Registration Form.
We need one form for each person taking the class (if a child and parent takes it, fill in 2 forms). The instructor's email is on the form, so you can email it directly to her, Lynn Smith. She has done many youth safety programs with 4-H in LaPorte county and is used to working with children.
We know some of the questions seem strange, but DNR requires ALL of the questions answered. Since the hunter ed card acts as a sort of ID, DNR needs the gender and ethnicity information. If those questions aren't answered, we can't enroll the student.
Once Mrs. Smith receives the enrollment form and places the student in the "private" class, they will get an email confirmation for the class.
