Pupil Progression Plan
Please make sure you understand the Pupil Progression Plan and are relaying this information to your students who failed the first semester with a grade between 60 and 69. The explanation below is copied directly from the student handbook:
Pupil Progression Plan
If a student fails the first semester with a 60-69 average, but passes the second semester and has an overall average of a 70 the student will earn two one-half credits and will not need to repeat the first semester class.[The failing grade will be reflected on the student’s transcript and be used in the calculation of the student’s GPA.] If a student passes the first semester and does not pass the second semester, the student will receive credit for the first semester but does not receive credit for the second semester and must repeat the second semester class to receive credit. This will be known as the Pupil Progression Plan or PPP.
If you have questions, please ask your department chair.
Shattered Dreams
The event will be held on April 9-10 and an alternate bell schedule will be provided for these two days. Please make plans to have lighter activities in class (ie. no tests) as these days can be quite emotional for our students and staff.

Cougar Cup Update
In order to bring equity to the teams of the Cougar Cup (teams range from 7 to 12 members), we will rank teams by points per member.
There are over 800 points available through the rest of the semester in extra-curricular activities alone! So, it is still anyone's game!
Remember to post instructional photos of student learning for points as well! We love seeing the amazing things going on in your classrooms!
Here are the current standings:
