Preparing for Staff Appreciation Week May 1 - 5, 2023
Campus Closed to Visitors - May 2, 9, 10
Our campus will be administering STAAR tests on May 2, 9, and 10. Please ensure that your child gets a good night's rest, eats a healthy breakfast and arrives to school on time.
- Electronic devices (such as phones and smart watches) have to be taken up during testing so we advise leaving those at home.
- On a student's test day lunch deliveries are not accepted. Any student that forgets lunch will have a cafeteria lunch provided.
Due to the testing in the building, we would like to remind parents that because of test security and confidential integrity, our campus will be closed to all visitors and parent volunteers on May 2, 9 and 10. We appreciate your help and understanding for keeping our campus secure!
We are so proud of how hard our students have worked and how much they've learned this year! Remember that these tests are just a chance for them to show off what they know, and that we only ask that they do their very best!

5th Science Make-Ups - May 4

Should your student fall into the “Summer Movers” category, please contact our Registrar,

Nurse Updates
School nurses are critical to all aspects of students’ health! National School Nurse Day is May 10. Celebrate #SND2023 @schoolnurses www.schoolnurseday.org.
6th grade parents:
We are sending home letters to students who still need the Tdap and Meningitis vaccines for 7th grade. Often, children receive these at their 11 year old check-up. Please ask for this letter from your child. If your child did not receive a letter, this means we already have the record for these vaccines. Knox will not give out your child’s schedule if your child is not up to date. If you receive a letter from us, and your child has gotten the vaccines, please send the record to us ASAP. If your child has not received the vaccines, please have them done and if it’s before May 25th, send the record to Collins. After May 25th, send the record to Knox.
Parents of students with medications at school:
The last day to pick up your child’s medications will be May 25th. Please come by between now and then to pick up your child’s meds. Any medications left at school will be discarded.
Counselor Update
We are excited to have another opportunity for Tessa Stuckey to speak to our families on Monday, May 15, from 6:30-8:00 PM at Grand Oaks High School (Presentation on: For the Sake of Our Youth: Parenting in a Tech-Obsessed World).

Camp Singalier 2023
Believe it or not, summer will be here before we know it! Now isthe time to get your student ready to attend Camp Singalier, CISD's very own summer music camp, close by at The Woodlands College Park High School. This camp has been approved by Conroe ISD, so you know it is the very best in a fun and educational camp for your child! Please view pictures of the showchoir and Camp Singalier at our website: http://cavalierchoir.com/
Sponsored by the acclaimed Rhythm-n-Blue of the College Park Choir Department, Camp Singalier is designed for grades K – 8. Using a variety of exciting activities, your child will learn to sing, dance, and perform songs. As parents, you are invited to see the results of the week's accomplishments with a spectacular performance of entertainment featuring all the camp participants in the College Park High School Auditorium, complete with professional stage lighting and sound! Rhythm-n-Blue members will lead and assist in all the awesome activities of Camp Singalier. The Rhythm-n-Blue show choir is a very select group of 11th and 12th grade students who are outstanding performers in singing and dancing. Rhythm-n-Blue performs at many civic and school events, and their repertoire spans the best of Broadway and popular hits as showcased in their concerts featured exclusively at College Park to their award-winning performances at state choral competitions such as the Madrigal Festival in San Antonio.
Please support this Conroe ISD camp, which is our ONLY fundraiser to purchase costumes and music for Rhythm-n-Blue. By attending our camp, you help us fund this valuable program as we continue to promote music and the arts, not only in Conroe ISD schools, but also in our outreach to the community.
Thanks again for attending our camp. Look forward to FUN!!!!!
