Training Policies
Professional Courtesy Policy
Thank you for your participation in this class. We hope that this training will help you to grow professionally. We are asking you to please adhere to the following procedures during training time:
** Cell phones need to be shut off or on silent during training times. Phones should not be kept on the table but in a purse or pocket out of sight. Texting or using your phone in any way during actual training time is not allowed. Just as in driving, your full attention to the material being presented is required. Break times are scheduled throughout the training time and you are certainly encouraged to use your phone during that time if necessary. If you receive a call during training and you feel it necessary to take it then please leave the room to do so.
**There will be times during the training when you’ll be asked to have discussion with your table or in small groups. The trainer will give you plenty of notice as to how long you have to finish your conversations and if more time is needed please let the trainer know. Continuing your conversation with tablemates, or visiting with your neighbor during the time the trainer is speaking is distracting to others around you and therefore strongly discouraged.
Failure to follow these procedures may result in the trainer/Early Learning Connection Coordinator withholding your certificate at the end of the training.
The sign in list should include a note by the name of the person arriving late or departing early so that ECTC has records indicating why the person should not receive in-service hours for the training.
Questions or concerns please contact Angel Mayberry 402-564-0815 ext. 1028 or amayberry@esu7.org
