September is ATTENDANCE AWARENESS MONTH FOR ACS

Showing up for school has a huge impact on a student’s academic success starting in kindergarten and continuing through high school. Even as children grow older and more independent, families play a key role in making sure students get to school safely every day and understand why attendance is so important for success in school and on the job.

What is the Parent's Role in School Attendance

AMS is NOW COLLECTING BOX TOPS for EDUCATION

AMS is now collecting box tops. Please have students bring in their box tops to the front office with their name on the envelope. The top 3 students that brings in the most box tops by Oct. 19 will receive a prize.

Congratulations to Mrs. April Jones - AMS Art Teacher

Mrs. Jones is the recipient of the 2015 Youth Art Month Award of Merit. To be eligible for an award, state chairpersons submitted documentation of their Youth Art Month Programs.
