Thank you for all of the parents who signed up to bring in items! With all of your help and support, we will be able to complete our mystery activity! Everything will need to be brought in by the 26th.
We are learning how to work in book clubs for reading and responding to a text. In math, we have been working on an ice cream truck project! Ask your child what their truck’s name is and what ice cream they are going to “sell”. We have started animal research projects! The students love finding new information about their animal. In science, we are learning about matter. I hope your child has come home and shared that we are growing butterflies!
Our field trip is coming up! Please send in your permission slip and money if you have not already done so.

Hello parents! As of today Wednesday, May 13th we have 10 more days of school. The kids have done well on their MAP tests. I will send home a sheet that has their results on them later this week. I was very proud of them. They showed great work. Because of all their hard work, these last few days we will be doing some fun learning activities and end of the year reviews. I want them to have a great end of the year for all their hard work. We are having a pet “show and tell” on May 26th in the afternoon. I will be sending a note home with more details but the kids are excited. I know you are too---loading up your pet and taking it to school! They have talked about this most of this semester so I wanted to let them have a day for this. No school on the 19th-election day and the 25th Memorial Day. We have our field trip on May 21st and if you plan to go you must have a background check approved in the office or stay with your child only—district policy. Thanks for letting work with your children this year ---we have worked very hard.
