Literature (Wednesday - Friday):
- We will continue reading William Shakespeare's tragedy, Macbeth this week. In 6th grade, we are reading from the Sparknote No Fear Shakespeare edition. This is a good introductory book since it has Shakespeare's language side-by-side with a facing-page translation into modern English for ease of understanding. However, we are going to be reading strictly from the Shakespeare side, while using the modern English side if and when needed. Students are expected to take notes and be involved in the reading. Questions, quizzes, and writing assignments will accompany our reading of Macbeth.
