Secrets of Successful Families
Families of students who do well at school practice certain habits that contribute to success:
Monitoring Screen Time: Too much screen time can lead to problems with sleep, eating and attention. Scary or violent screen time can lead to stress, fears, and behavior problems that make learning difficult.
Communicating often: Your child develops healthy relationships through positive back-and-forth interactions with you, family members and friends. Healthy relationships prepare your child for school and life. Excellent social skills are one of the most important contributors to success.
Being Present: Put away your phone and talk and listen to your child talk about their thoughts and feelings. Cook together, play games, sing, and read together.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY CHILD HAS COVID SYMPTOMS?
Students exhibiting 2 or more symptoms. (fever, cough, runny rose, sore throat, fever, loss of taste/ smell) must:
- be tested in order to return to school (you can utilize district testing)
- OR must be quarantined for 10 days
Students may need to be tested if they are exposed to a positive case at their school. Testing is optional, but students who receive negative tests will be able to return to school in person sooner than those who are required to quarantine. We will also offer testing for any students who may be feeling COVID-19 symptoms and are unable to attend school.
