Welcome back to school! I am excited to announce that our school library will be available during distance learning. It may look different, as everything will be done online, but all the books you know and love are available for checkout. So let's get started......

Every student at East Avenue is able to login from home to browse our library's catalog. You can get to our catalog by clicking HERE. You will need to login to the catalog to place a book on HOLD for checkout. Your username is your student email minus @lvjusd.org (Example: citra.ter). Your password will be your student ID number.

You can place a hold for up to 5 books at a time. A student can have 3 books checked out for up to a 45 day period.

If you need help selecting a book or navigating the catalog, please email me at mshull@lvjusd.org. I would love to hear from you and help you find the perfect book.

Once you have placed a hold on your book, please wait for a confirmation email from Mrs. Shull. After you receive your confirmation email that your books are ready and available, you can pull up to the front of the school, enter through the blue front doors and you will see the library book cart in the foyer. Your library books will be marked with your name. You can pick up your library books from our cart Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-4:00 pm.

The return book bin will be placed next to the library cart in the school foyer. Please place books you would like to return in the bin.

All books will be quarantined for six days (current CDC recommendation for books) before being handled, cleaned, checked in and put back on the shelves.

Please be patient for your items to be checked in or to become available online. You will be able to immediately put a hold on a new book, you do not need to wait! Popular titles may have a longer wait time due to quarantine/availability.
