'Tis the Season

We wanted to say thank you to everyone that joined us for BHN's Annual Thanksgiving Pageant. We hoped you enjoyed it as much as we did! We are busily compiling all of the staff photos on Ms. Louie's computer so that we can share the album with all of you. I am also working on editing the video so that we can share that as well.

Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, the holiday season seems to be in full swing. Our upcoming evenings and weekends suddenly seem more jam-packed than usual as we host and attend a variety of parties. All of the festivities can take quite a toll on the little ones so please be sure that they get a good night's rest and are ready for the 9am start of the school day. If, for some reason, your child is going to be late or absent, please be sure to call or email Ms. Kelly so that she can tell your child's teacher.

Bolton Hill Nursery Goes to the Movies

Monday, Dec. 29th, 4pm

1711 N Charles St

Baltimore, MD

The wonderful Ms. Alexa Eckley has arranged another BHN Afternoon at the Movies during winter break. Specifics regarding the movie and ticket prices are still to be determined, but mark your calendars now!

Starting Monday, we will be offering the children whole organic milk with lunch. We will only be offering, not automatically serving so the children have a choice. Please let us know if you do not want your child to drink milk with lunch.

Weather permitting, all of our birds will continue to go outside daily so please be sure to send them to school with weather-appropriate clothing each and every day including hats, gloves, scarves and coats.

As many of you know, there is a door buzzer at 204 W. Lanvale. For the most part, when anyone has rung the buzzer, a BHN staff member has greeted you and opened the door for you personally. However, the system does have a camera and an automatic unlock that we can control from the office which we may make use of at times. So please listen for the buzzer and feel free to walk right in.

The rules for Medication Administration are determined by the state and they are rules that we need to adhere to. They are published in our Parent Handbook as well. Next week, Ms. Beki will be making an easy-to read sign for each building as well. Please be sure to review these policies (in either location) and let us know if you have any questions. Medication forms can also be found on our website (Resources for Parents). We are unable to administer any type of medication (prescription or non-prescription) if we do not have the proper forms and packaging. Thank you for your understanding.
